Scott Burleson

Scott Burleson

William “Scott” Burleson is the author of The Statue in the Stone: Decoding Customer Motivation with the 48 Laws of Jobs-to-be-Done Philosophy.

He has a diverse professional background within manufacturing engineering, product management, voice-of-the-customer training and SaaS development. Notable career stops include product manager for John Deere’s compact tractors, innovation leader for Actuant corporation, and Director of the Strategyn Institute. At Strategyn, he worked alongside the world's best jobs-to-be-done practitioners. Strategyn, founded by pioneer Tony Ulwick, is ground zero for Outcome-Driven Innovation (ODI).

Today, as Senior Vice President for The AIM Institute, Burleson leads product development for Blueprinter® software, teaches workshops on innovation using the New Product Blueprinting process, and advises corporate leaders and practitioners on growth via JTBD principles.

He has a MS in Management and a BS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.



Salvador González García

Salvador González García

Salvador earned a B.S. and M. Sc. in electrical engineering and a PhD in automatic control. Since 2009 he is a full-time professor at Tecnologico de Monterrey Campus Morelia (Mexico) at the School of Engineering and Sciences, teaching subjects such as Mechatronic Design and Industrial Robotics. Salvador is a New Product Development Professional by PDMA and passionate about the use and impact of tools and methodologies for (New) Product (Process or Service) Design and Development. His publications in international journals are in the area of educational robotics. He also loves teaching robotics and coding to kids.




Rose Klimovich

Rose Klimovich

Rose Klimovich is Visiting Professor of Marketing and Management at Manhattan College in New York. She is also a Digital Marketing and Strategy consultant to small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Formerly, as the Vice President – Product Management and Product Marketing for Telx, Rose Klimovich created the Telx business strategy and developed the investment plan for new products and services in areas including colocation, cloud, Ethernet, and video conferencing. Rose’s team supported vertical markets including Financial Services, Media and Service Providers.

Prior to this, Rose was the Vice President of Business Strategy for AT&T, responsible for strategy development and investment decisions in new markets and technologies. Rose has more than 20 years of experience and achievement in designing, scaling and managing Internet, VPN and data businesses. Rose led AT&T to the #1 share position in VPN and to a leadership position in Internet Services.

Rose has an MBA and a BS in Math/Economics from Carnegie-Mellon University. Rose is Joint Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Women’s Venture Fund.



Daniel Lewis

Daniel Lewis

Dr. Daniel E. Lewis is the president and founder of Product Acuity Consulting, where he serves as an Innovation Alchemist, helping organizations improve their ability to transform their raw ideas into market deliverable value. As a both a technologist and marketeer, Dr. Lewis has 4 decades of experience in creating and commercializing numerous technology-based products and services that have forever changed the way we live and work. As a founding member of IEEE 802.11 standards effort, he led the creation of the market defining wireless LAN product line. Formal credentials include a BSEE, MBA, PhD in innovation management, graduate study certificate in e-business, professional engineering license, PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, NPDP (new product development professional) certification, and numerous patents. Dr. Lewis also serves as an adjunct professor for undergraduate and graduate level courses in strategy, marketing, and management and is an authorized Education Provider for PDMA’s New Product Development Certification. He is a self-admitted “web head”, addicted to the Internet, where he spends most of his time feeding his head with a continuous stream of new knowledge and information on a variety of subjects.



Carlos Rodriguez

Carlos Rodriguez

Carlos M Rodriguez is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Quantitative Methods and Director of the Center for the Study of Innovation Management, CSIM in the College of Business, Delaware State University, USA. His publications have appeared in the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business to Business Marketing, Journal of International Marketing, International Marketing Review, Management Decision, International Journal of Business and Social Sciences, Journal of Business and Leadership, and Journal of Higher Education Research & Development among others and several conference proceedings. Currently, he serves in the editorial board of several journals. His research interests are in the areas of entrepreneurship and strategic capabilities, luxury branding and experiences, product design and new product development teams, and relationship marketing. He recently published the book entitled Product Design and Innovation: Analytics for Decision Making centered in the design techniques and methodologies vital to the product design process. He is engaged in several international educational, research, and academic projects, as well, as, international professional activities.

Susan Burek

Susan Burek, kHUB Administrator

Susan Burek is the Product Manager and Administrator for PDMA’s kHUB. She also contracts as a Senior Consultant at Foresight Science and Technology.

Previously, Susan was a Program Manager at Stanley, Black & Decker, Newell Brands and Ingersoll Rand. She spent most of her career at Eastman Kodak Company in new product development, as well as in environment, health, safety, and regulatory roles. She is Past President and still active board member with the Carolinas Chapter of PDMA.

Susan earned a BS in chemistry and an MS in product development from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
