About the Presenter

Ty Hagler, Principal, Trig

Ty Hagler has spent his career, not just as a creative, but in teaching others to be creative - both as individuals and in a team setting. Ty’s mission is to change the culture of healthcare innovation from technology-push to market-pull. The change starts with educating physicians and clinicians to take an empathy-first leadership role in solving the wealth of problems in our healthcare system. He is the principal and founder at Trig, an award-winning industrial design consultancy that works with startups and corporate innovation teams. Ty is a frequent public speaker, co-host with Jared Gabaldon on the med Design podcast, and mentor to young professionals. In his spare time, he is an avid reader and keeps up with a busy family life with his wife, three kids, and a pet Brittany that needs a daily run to manage its energy.
