AI is becoming more central to all product managers both in differentiating their product, accelerating their product development process, and making them more efficient. Dave and Rolf are going to bring two perspectives in leveraging AI in product management and do’s and don’ts.

About the Speakers

Rolf BiernathRolf Biernath, PhD., Founder & President, Biernath Consulting, Inc.

Rolf Biernath, PhD., brings over three decades of experience in inventing and innovating groundbreaking products and processes for 3M and clients across diverse industries. With 56 US patents, Rolf has a knack for tackling complex challenges in product design and manufacturing processes. He has led product development teams in a wide range of areas, including materials, process engineering, innovative sensors, sensor camouflage, microfluidics, adhesives, microreplication, electronic displays, and electronic interconnect systems.

Currently, Rolf is dedicated to helping small and medium-sized manufacturers embrace the future by integrating AI, automation, and robotics into their systems. His goal is to enhance manufacturing productivity while simultaneously improving the workforce's quality of life, thereby enhancing both competitiveness and employee retention.

Dave MathiasDave Mathias, Product & Analytics Coach and Consultant, Beyond the Data

Dave Mathias has 15+ years of experience leveraging analytics to build better products. He consults helping organizations build better products as a Product & Analytics Coach and Consultant at Beyond the Data, LLC. Over the years Dave has worked for or consulted with many organizations from Fortune 500 to startups including the likes of Aon, Ecolab, Mayo Clinic, Medtronic, Shipwell, Solera, TigerRisk, and U.S. Bank, to name a few.

Dave is the author of Data Storytelling and Translation: Bridging the gap between numbers and narratives. He has spent over 20 years in total in Minnesota, but now resides in Nashville, TN. He misses Minnesota but at the same time doesn’t miss the winters.
