Description
AI is transforming product management, yet as we discuss in Next-Gen Product Management, success hinges on empowering people, not just adopting new tools. When teams are excluded from AI-driven changes, resistance grows, and innovation stalls. But when we engage them as active participants, we unlock better decisions and stronger competitive advantage. We'll draw from examples in the book and other experiences, to showcase → Don’t let AI be an excuse to ignore your team or stakeholders, make it the reason you listen to them more than ever.
Learning Objectives:
- Evolution of Product Management & Adaptation to Modern Practices - Showcase how product management has transformed from its historical origins to today's practices, helping readers understand why traditional principles are no longer sufficient.
- Empowerment & Collaborative Leadership in Diverse Teams - Practical approaches to fostering diverse, high-performing teams through collaborative leadership rather than command-and-control methods through insights on navigating generational diversity, creating environments where collaboration thrives, and embracing unique perspectives to deliver better products.
- Strategic Integration of AI & Career Development Pathways - Guidance on leveraging AI tools in product management workflows while explaining how to navigate career advancement from entry-level positions through senior leadership including a "five behaviors" framework for long-term success and actionable strategies for future-proofing careers in an AI-driven landscape.
