A conversation with Brian Sekinger, the Immersive Operations Manager at Blume Studios, Blumenthal Arts newest 32,000 sq. ft. venue dedicated to the presentation and cultivation of immersive experiences, installations, and events. Brian will discuss the development of Blume Studios, how they are curating experiences, and the essential role local artists and organizations play in its success. We’ll also look at strategies Blume Studios is using to create branding around shared experience. Come with questions!

About the Speaker

Brian Sekinger

Brian Sekinger, Immersive Venue Operations Manager, Blume Studios, Blumenthal Arts

Brian has worked in both the commercial and non-profit entertainment markets for over 17 years as a Production Stage Manager, Production Manager, Line Producer, Educator, and now as an Operations Manager helping creative minds translate their dreams into reality. His career has focused mainly on the development of new work and the expansion of programming initiatives at established institutions. Brian’s work has been focused on the east coast at organizations including the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, Northern Stage, Folger Shakespeare, DreamWorks Theatricals, RKO Stage, Davenport Theatricals, and the New Musical Development Foundation. He holds a BA in Educational Theater from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and an MFA in Production Technology & Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
