Description

Workplace trust has declined by nearly 15% in the past 50 years. Technologies like AI are impacting project teams, communication, and ultimately, trust. Employees don’t trust their managers and company executives don’t trust the team members. Workplace mistrust leads to decreased product quality, stalled innovation, and weakened collaboration. The result? Higher costs, lost revenue, and increased staff turnover.

When we understand the variables that define trust, we can take steps to improve our personal and professional relationships. Trust hinges on vulnerability of both parties to create an open and collaborative team environment. We’ll identify characteristics of the trustor and of the trustee that impact the level of achievable trust using the metaphor of running a RACE (reliability, authenticity, credibility, empathy).

You’ll leave this workshop with a new trust toolkit to help you nurture a harmonious and creative workplace.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the cost and impacts from lack of team trust
  • Learn the key elements of trust for each party involved
  • Identify actions to build trust in an organization using the metaphor of RACE
