Interesting and slightly provocative Opinion Piece by Clint Padgett in our Community Blog. Check it out HERE.

Would love to have other thoughts on it. In your view, has Clint successfully made the argument that the Project Success Methodology is aligned or superior to Agile in most or all regards?

    Hi Brian,

There are two issues I see with the article
     1. Agile ensures non-existent communication gap within the team , primarily due to team size. Due to this , the team's alignment with the changes are pretty quick.
     2. How about post release defects? I understand PSM ensures success in delivering product with agreed scope, cost and time, but If a issue occurs, the cost to address the issue may be higher when compared to Agile. I am not sure is PSM is flexible to incorporate defects as quickly as possible within the next sprint.

PSM is a list of best practices taken from the different industries, and defined as processes to ensure success in each task. But Agile does not necessarily ensure success, there will be issue with iterative releases, which will be fixed in the consecutive releases.
