    If you are a product professional, you have likely experienced a lack of understanding from others of what it is you actually do, or should be doing.

    Fortunately, help is at hand. There's an article by Steve Johnson recently posted that is very helpful in understanding the role of Product Management and what tasks naturally fit within the sphere of product management vs customer service, or sales or other market-facing functions.
