AUTM is the largest association of university, research hospital, non-profit, and federal technology transfer professionals. It is a global association whose annual meeting this year will be in San Diego March 8 - 11, 2020. There is a surprising lack of understanding about NPD in TTO offices. As both a former AUTM VP and Registered Technology Transfer Professional and a PDMA member and NPDP, I'd like to do something to improve the interface and interactions between both. So I am proposing a seminar on What TTOs Need to Know about NPD for the 2020 Annual meeting. I am hoping there are some PDMA members in the Sand Diego area or within a reasonable drive who would be interested in participating in this seminar as discussants or presenters. I'd be looking to presenters to share stories about their interactions with universities and other research institutions or with small companies built upon university, hospital, federal lab, etc. technology.
